Terms & Conditions
Editorial draft. These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases of PocketWalk Budapest self-guided digital walking tours.
1. About the service
PocketWalk Budapest provides self-guided digital walking tours in Budapest. The tours are accessed online through a web browser and are intended for personal recreational use.
2. Purchase and payment
The price of each tour is shown before purchase. Payment is processed through our payment provider, Stripe. By completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. After successful payment, access to the purchased tour is provided immediately.
3. Access period
Your purchased tour is available for 48 hours from the time of purchase. The 48-hour access period applies to the purchaser and to the people accompanying the purchaser as part of the same group. Access cannot be transferred, resold or shared with people outside the purchaser's group.
4. Use of the tour
The tour is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You may use the purchased tour together with the people accompanying you during the same visit. You may not copy, reproduce, publish, resell, redistribute or commercially exploit the tour or its content.
5. Digital content and technical requirements
The tour is provided digitally and requires a compatible device, web browser and an internet connection. PocketWalk Budapest does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service in all circumstances, including temporary technical problems, network failures or changes affecting locations along the route.
6. Route and safety
The tours take place in public spaces. Routes, access to locations and local conditions may change due to construction, events, weather, traffic or other circumstances beyond our control. Please follow local signs, traffic rules and any instructions from authorities or venue operators. You are responsible for your own safety and for the safety of any people accompanying you.
7. Accuracy and availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the tour content accurate and up to date. However, information, locations, opening hours, public access and other local circumstances may change. If a particular location or part of a route becomes temporarily unavailable, this does not necessarily affect access to the rest of the tour.
8. Intellectual property
All text, images, graphics, audio, design and other content provided as part of the tour are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Purchasing a tour gives you a limited right to use the tour during the applicable access period. It does not transfer ownership or intellectual property rights.
9. Refunds and right of withdrawal
The tour is digital content that is made available immediately after purchase. By completing the purchase, you expressly agree that access to the digital content begins immediately and acknowledge that, once the digital content is made available, you lose your statutory right of withdrawal to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Problems and complaints
If you experience a problem with your purchase or the tour, please contact us at info@pocketwalkbudapest.com. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the problem promptly.
11. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Hungarian law, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply to you under the laws applicable to your place of residence.
